We had our very first Khmer lesson today, from Savin (:
Mr Yang was like the assistant teacher and we all had to repeat after them, feeling what it's like to learn another language :D We even had a mini-test after the mini-lesson and we had to try to read our own "language". =D

Today we tried teaching too! How did all of your lessons went? For arts, I think it wasn't our best, definately. Settling the children was very very hard, but then, we weren't that close to them yet. And adding on, there was that language barrier between us too. During debrief we had to pick someone who we can learn something from, and mine was Auntie Bella! (:
She's like, always so "cool as a cucumber" you know? xD
